Equine Skills

As part of the XLEquine Veterinary Group we are committed to providing you with up-to-date practical training to enable you grow your equine knowledge and skills.

EquineSkills workshops will always be delivered to small groups to allow plenty of one to one teaching. The workshops will be both interactive and hands on using live animals and associated props. They will be delivered by our equine veterinary team and nursing assistants. All of our vets delivering these workshops have attended an accredited training course to ensure that we deliver a consistently high level of education.

We offer a variety of workshops including live painted horse demonstrations in collaboration with HORSES INSIDE OUT, equine behaviour training and insight, practical skills training for both equine and horse rider first aid and many more. There is a workshop for everyone!

Are EquineSkills suitable for me?

EquineSkills workshops cater for all levels of horse ownership or knowledge including new horse owners, experienced riders, coaches, yard owners and even paraprofessionals including massage therapists and farriers.
